Epic Motorcycle Journey: From Key West to Prudhoe Bay – A Test of Limits and a Celebration of Life
Embarking on a journey of unparalleled magnitude, a group of passionate riders is set to traverse the United States and Canada, traveling from the southernmost point of Key West, Florida, to the northernmost tip of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, within the Arctic Circle. Covering over 6,000 miles in just seven days, this epic adventure isn’t just a ride—it’s a testament to human endurance, a celebration of the motorcycle community, and a powerful platform for raising awareness about mental health. The Journey of a Lifetime
Spanning two vastly different geographical extremes, the route promises breathtaking vistas and ever-changing terrain. On this remarkable journey, one rider will command a Harley Pan America, another a Ducati Panigale V4S, and a third a Yamaha Super Tenere. These motorcycles, each unique in their capabilities, reflect the diverse spirit of the adventure. From the sun-soaked shores of Key West to the rugged, icy roads of Alaska, the trio will face challenges that demand perseverance and adaptability. This feat, while extraordinary, is deeply personal for the riders. Two middle-aged men, defying stereotypes about age and endurance, are undertaking this challenge not to impress but to test their limits. Their drive stems from a profound desire to prove that age is no barrier to achieving greatness and to embrace the transformative power of the road.A Celebration of the Motorcycle Community
More than just a personal challenge, this journey is a celebration of the diverse and vibrant motorcycle culture. It’s a call to riders everywhere to unite in the shared love for the open road. Through live updates, community events along the route, and a rallying cry for participation, this endeavor seeks to inspire both seasoned riders and new enthusiasts. Whether joining for a segment of the trip or cheering from afar, every participant plays a part in fostering a collective spirit of adventure and camaraderie.Riding for a Cause
Beyond the thrill of the ride, the journey carries a profound mission: to raise awareness about mental health. Partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the riders aim to shed light on issues that have profoundly impacted their lives and those of their loved ones. Their ambitious goal is to raise $100,000 for this vital organization, funding programs that foster hope, understanding, and support for individuals and families affected by suicide. By turning this extraordinary adventure into a platform for meaningful conversation and impactful fundraising, they hope to inspire change and make a lasting difference.A Legacy of Adventure and Advocacy
This journey is more than miles conquered or destinations reached—it’s about creating a lasting impact. By blending personal growth, the joy of riding, and advocacy for a critical cause, the riders are crafting a story that resonates far beyond the motorcycle community. It’s an invitation to push boundaries, embrace freedom, and make a difference. Follow their journey, be part of the adventure, and join the movement to celebrate life, community, and the road ahead. About the Ride
The Keys to the Arctic is no ordinary ride—it’s a mission-driven journey with a purpose. As we navigate some of the most remote and breathtaking landscapes, we’re not just chasing adventure—we’re raising awareness and support for a cause that matters. This section provides key details about the ride, its mission, and how you can be part of it—whether as a rider, a supporter, or a brand looking to make a lasting impact.

The Keys to the Arctic will be a fully self-supported ride—no chase vehicle, no backup crew, just us and the open road. While we initially explored the idea of having a support vehicle as a contingency plan—especially with the Ducati Panigale venturing into uncharted territory—we ultimately decided against it. After working through the logistics and even setting up a vehicle with two drivers, we collectively realized that it simply couldn’t keep pace with the ride.
This journey is about pushing limits, embracing the unknown, and proving what’s possible—without the safety net of a support team. We ride with full confidence in our preparation, our machines, and the adventure ahead.
For this journey, we’re leaving the hotel reservations behind. After careful consideration, we decided that booking accommodations would add unnecessary constraints to our ride. This journey is about endurance, adaptability, and pushing limits—both on the road and within ourselves.
A fixed hotel stop could force us into unsafe riding conditions—either pressing on when we’re too exhausted just to make a reservation or stopping prematurely when we still have the energy to push forward. With our goal of covering 6,000+ miles in just seven days, flexibility is key.
Instead, we’ll be carrying our own gear, camping in tents or hammocks whenever and wherever we need rest. The only exception? A possible hotel stop to recharge our video production equipment. Beyond that, it’s just us, the open road, and the elements.
For The Keys to the Arctic, we’re carrying everything we need—no support vehicles, no baggage trucks, just our bikes and the open road. From camping gear and video equipment to tools, tire repair kits, and food, every essential will be packed and strapped onto our motorcycles.
This presents some unique challenges, especially for the Ducati Panigale, a bike designed for speed, not storage. With nowhere to mount traditional bags and limited fuel range (just 120 miles per tank), we’ve had to get creative with our packing strategy. Weight distribution, fuel efficiency, and accessibility are all key considerations as we prepare for this 6,000+ mile endurance ride.
To keep the bikes performing at their best, we’ve scheduled one planned maintenance stop for an oil change and tire replacement, shipping parts ahead of time to minimize downtime. Beyond that—and aside from any unforeseen issues—we’re relying on what we carry.
This ride is about more than just reaching the Arctic. It’s about problem-solving, endurance, and proving that with the right mindset, any challenge can be overcome.
For The Keys to the Arctic, we want to bring people along for the ride—in real time. Throughout our journey, we’ll be providing live GPS tracking, allowing you to follow our exact location as we navigate the challenging 6,000+ mile route.

This isn’t just a ride—it’s an endurance test, an adventure, and a race against the clock. Now, you can experience it as it happens.
We’re inviting fellow riders to join us on the road as we take on The Keys to the Arctic, a journey dedicated to raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
This ride is about more than just miles—it’s about community, connection, and supporting a cause that matters. If you want to be part of this mission, you can meet up and ride alongside us to help spread awareness and show your support.
Since our schedule is flexible and dictated by endurance, weather, and road conditions, we won’t be able to provide exact dates and times for when we’ll pass through specific areas. Riders interested in joining us will need to track our live GPS updates and adjust accordingly to meet us along the way.
